# PHOTOGRAMMETRY & LIDAR IN THE CLOUD

> Process drone photographs and LiDAR point clouds in the cloud: orthophoto, surface and terrain models, classified point cloud and 3D model. A fixed price shown before you start, no subscription.

Page: https://finitor.cl/

No new hardware, and prices you can predict.

Finitor Cloud is a service of Stellaris, a company in Chile. You upload the photographs of a drone flight, or a LiDAR point cloud, and receive the orthophoto, the surface and terrain models, the classified point cloud and the 3D model. Finitor Desktop, its desktop application for Windows, opens the same survey at full resolution to measure it and correct it.

## What processing a flight costs you today, and what it costs here.

- The problem: A subscription that bills every month, including the months you do not fly. Here: No subscription. A price per photograph, paid when you process.
- The problem: A workstation and a graphics card to buy, and a computer blocked for hours while it processes. Here: It runs on our machines. Upload from any computer and keep working.
- The problem: Not knowing what a job will cost until it is done, or paying for a run that failed. Here: The price is shown before anything starts, and it is the price you pay. A failed run costs nothing.
- The problem: Accuracy you have to take on trust. Here: Measured at points held back from the solution, and published: a median of 1.7 cm at 46 checkpoints of a public benchmark.
- The problem: A result you cannot correct: one program to process, another to edit, and files copied between them. Here: The cloud and the desktop application share the same survey: correct the classes, measure, and send the edit back.
- The problem: Power lines, poles and fences labelled by hand, point by point. Here: The deep classifier labels them, and vehicles, on a LiDAR cloud.

## Already have a point cloud? Skip the flight.

### Standard — every LiDAR job

- Classified cloud — ground, vegetation, buildings and vehicles
- Bare-earth terrain model (DTM) and full surface model (DSM)
- Contours at an interval fitted to the site's own relief
- A top-down orthophoto from the cloud's own colour
- Streamable COPC for the viewer, plus LAS/LAZ for your own tools

Runs on CPU, in minutes. Priced per million points, shown before it starts.

Classifying the ground of a point cloud costs US$0.35 to US$0.50 per million points (US$5 for 10 million, US$175 for 500 million); AI scene classes, terrain models and the orthophoto add US$0.10 to US$0.15 per million each. A drone LiDAR flight has 1 to 3 million points per hectare, so the ground pass is about US$0.35 to US$1.50 per hectare.

### Premium — deep-learning classification

- Cleaner separation where geometry alone struggles: dense canopy, complex roofs, cluttered sites
- Finer classes — power lines, poles, fences — beyond the standard four

## How we charge

- A price for each photograph: Basic: US$0.01 a photo for a map, US$0.02 with 3D. Premium, with every option on the fastest machines: from US$0.05. The exact figure is shown before you start, from your own flight.
- What you see is what you pay: No meter and no charge afterwards — the price you were quoted is taken when the run completes, to the cent.
- Two free runs a month: Two runs each calendar month cost nothing at all: Basic runs of up to 300 photographs, or a LiDAR cloud of up to 20 million points with the standard classifier. Deep classification is never a free run.
- A failed run costs nothing: If the engine stops before it produces anything, the whole price comes back to your balance, ready for another run or to be sent back to you.
- Cancel, and pay only for what ran: Stopping a run once it has started costs a small fee for each photograph already processed — nothing more.
- Storage, priced upfront: Space for your images is bought before they are indexed. A run's outputs are kept for the days you choose — at least five — and that hosting is already in the run's quote; you are emailed before they are deleted and can keep them longer. Nothing is added afterwards.

## From the pricing page

US$0.02 per GiB each month, shown before you keep anything. Results stay 30 days by default.

Prices are in US dollars and include Chile's IVA where it applies. In Chile, pay by card through Transbank; from anywhere else, add balance with PayPal, using an international card or a PayPal account.

The desktop application opens your Stellaris results and your own files at no cost: look, move around, measure. The licence adds the tools that change a survey or produce something from it — US$29 a month, or US$290 a year.

## From the contact page

For organisations that have to process on their own machines, or whose data cannot leave the company, we install the same processing inside their network. Ask us here.
